PF in Karazhan

Here is a review of posts from Karazhan days

April, 2007

PF has been running Karazhan for about a month. We one-shotted Attumen the first time we saw him, but Moroes gave us a bit more trouble. At this point, however, the butler knows that when he sees PF come in the door, there is never enough time... for him.

This place is so fun! Our intrepid group of adventurers persisted this week - taking down one boss after another. First, we one-shotted the Maiden of Virtue. Our MO seems to be to look at a boss one week, then come back the next week and blow it down.

We then found our way to the opera house, where we muddled around a bit figuring out how to start the event and know what it is. Here we find our indefatigable group preparing for the assault on unsuspecting opera patrons.
We got the Big Bad wolf. He seemed as if he should have been easier than he proved to be, but he went down anyway. Interestingly enough, the Bad Wolf proved to be the opera event that gave us the most trouble week after week.

A couple of weeks later we found ourselves faced with the Wizard of Oz event. Having never done the event before, we flew into action and aced it on our first try. It was amazing.

June, 2007

After a couple of weeks of taking his measure, PF killed the Curator last week. Good discipline and good dps carried the day.

After that, and a tremendous amount of trash, we went on back to do the Chess event. Phree Phat Lewtz!

The next day, for good measure, we went on in and took out Terestian Illhoof. He's a weenie...

July, 2007

We have to admit we struggled a bit with Aran, but we finally put the whiny old man down. Myranya says Aran is like Myranmys, except Aran is tough. We had visited Netherspite once, but it was at the end of a raid when we had done several other things - not a serious attempt. On Friday PF decided to make a serious attempt on Netherspite, and was successful!

Here is a gnome's-eye view of the proceedings.

PF has been a bit lazy about even visiting the dragons in Karazhan, but we finally bothered to summon Nightbane, and he went down. This guy required a bit more effort than some bosses, but in the end it felt inevitable.

PF Hits Level 25!

PF recently became a level 25 guild. At this point, PF members get 10% more experience and 10% more rep from killing stuff, and 10% more honor in BGs. Our items take 20% less durability loss on those (exceptionally rare) occasions when we die. Our hearthstones only need a 15 minute cooldown. We have guild pages, extra mining, skinning, and herb picking, and a group summon and group rez. Congrats PF!
